PIM, the platform for inter*national student mobility, digitises the recognition process at your university. It is an innovative platform for recognising achievements in national and international student mobility.
The digital platform is the result of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and combines the experience and requirements of eight renowned universities.
User-friendly and intuitive workflows facilitate and accelerate the recognition processes at your university. Thanks to the systematic development of a recognition database, PIM also offers a tool that can be used for student counselling.
Partner universities
From project to finished software
PIM began in 2020 as a BMBF-funded project. During the course of the project, the requirements of eight renowned universities for a digital workflow for the recognition and credit transfer of academic achievements were discussed, prioritised and implemented. In numerous meetings and discussion rounds, the software developed was thoroughly tested and continuously adapted to the requirements. PIM has been tested at pilot faculties since the end of 2023. The initial challenges were successfully overcome. We are proud that the idea of a digital workflow for recognition has resulted in a finished piece of software.
