The HISinOne user conference is a regularly held event organised by the SIS provider. As a forum for news about the HISinOne system, the event enables frequent exchange between HISinOne Users about current topics.
On the 6th of May PIM had the opportunity to present the latest advances in PIM development to over 60 attendees at the Online HISinOne User conferences entitled: “Erfahrungsbericht: Digitalisierung des Anerkennungsworkflows an Hochschulen” (Experience report: Digitization of the recognition workflow at higher education institutions).
Special feature of this conference was a live demonstration of the import of student credits from a HISinOne system via an Emrex interface into PIM. A recognition request was then prepared by a fictitious student and subsequently processed by University staff at the student’s home university. As a highlight it was shown how the result of the recognition request was then reimported into the HISinOne System. This clearly reveals how the PIM platform can be integrated into university procedures and supports digitisation of student credit transfer.
